JRPG COMFORT Food? BRAVELY DEFAULT 2 First Impressions REVIEW!
Based on the First 7hrs of play (up to where you have all the cover protagonists in the party) I thought we'd take a spoiler-free look at #BravelyDefault2 and give y'all my first impressions of the #NintendoSwitch exclusive JRPG!
Intel
Playing on the Nintendo Switch, Bravely Default 2 is an JRPG strongly set and inspired by Square Enix's venerable Final Fantasy series (Phoenix Down anyone? It was originally back in the day intended as a sequel to FF4 I believe).
Explore a new world as you fight for survival with your customized team of heroes in the Bravely Default II game, a strikingly beautiful RPG adventure. Balance risk and reward in turn-based battles with the Brave and Default commands.

So remember as ever, 0 is a practically unplayable or sickness inducing experience, 5 is okay and 10 is genre-defining!
The Good
Some nice Art although I can't help but wish to see how this stuff would look in the rumoured 4k Switch Pro
Nice music (and voices) and a solid combat theme that won't PO you after 50hrs+ of play.
It's fun so far receiving items in the world for slapping shrubs and trees with your sword!
Enemies flee from you when they're potentially not worth your time
Skip / Speed up combat options help reduce tedium of the grinding that may be necessary in this game
Saving system is reasonable thus far
Fair & Flowing combat system (emphasis on thus far)
Lots of systems and things to master, upgrade & discover

The Bad
While I understand why, you don't get to see warn armour reflected in your character as this is job locked
Possibly nothing revolutionary if you love, hate or have played many JRPGs although the speed at which you can grind may certainly help some of this.
The Ugly
• Nothing really ugly in my first 7hrs of play

The Score
9/10
So far, really enjoying it and looking forward to seeing what new things we'll discover, and systems that we'll be introduced to, to make it even more tactical and rewarding in both combat, exploration and gameplay loop flow!
